A round of the ACU OSET British Solo Youth Trials Championship
SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS

ANNOUNCEMENT: Bradford & District Motor Club Limited will organise a National Trial on 9th April 2016, for solo motorcycles, held under the National Sporting Code, the Standing Regulations of the ACU, the ACU OSET British Solo Youth Trials Championship Regulations, the following Supplementary Regulations and any Final Instructions that may be issued.

 

ELIGIBILITY: Open to B, C & D Class youth riders as defined under TSR1.
Riders must hold a current ACU/SACU Trials Registration Card or ACU/SACU rider's (Competition) Licence. Other riders must produce a current licence issued by their FMN, together with start permission and proof of personal accident insurance.

 

MACHINES: Motorcycles as per NSC Appendix D Category 1, Group A1 Solos and TSR 8.
Note: Capacity (Internal combustion petrol engines), Power (Electric) and wheel sizes are, by class, to be as defined under TSR1.

 

CLASSES: As defined in TSR1. B Class, C Class (Standard Wheel), C Class (Medium Wheel), D Class (Medium Wheel) & D Class (Small Wheel).
Riders wishing to ride in a class lower than their age group may do so on a "no points" basis. However, see note* re entry limit.

(Nearest Postcode: BD20 0LS). The start location is to be a silent area. Note: Parking restrictions may well be necessary and anyone associated with this event must take reasonable measures to park as directed by club officials.

ENTRIES / FEE: Entries must be made on the official form provided & together with the correct fee, sent so as to reach the Secretary of the Meeting by the closing date. No entries will be taken via telephone or email and entries will close on 4th April 2016, or when full; whichever is the sooner. This event is limited to 100 riders.

 

The Entry Fee is £20/Rider. Registration fee for an "Assistant" (if needed); £1
("Assistants" must be at least 18 years of age). Cheques or money orders should be made payable to Bradford & District Motor Club Ltd.
*If the demand for available entries is exceeded, priority will first be given to those wishing to ride the correct class for their age.
Riders unable to advise the organisers of an email address on which they may be reached, should include a SAE with their entry.

 

STARTING ORDER & STARTING INTERVALS: Having had their starting order/riding numbers determined by ballot / class, riders will start, by class, at one minute intervals, commencing :- D Class ( SW), D Class (MW), C Class (MW), C Class (Std. W), B Class.

 

TIME ALLOWANCE: The individual time allowance, subject to possible revision in the Final Instructions, will be 5½ hours.

 

RESULTS: Will be announced on the day and later posted on the website; www.bradfordtrials.com
(Riders wanting hard copy results must provide a SAE).

 

AWARDS: Awards will be given to those placed 1st, 2nd & 3rd in each championship class.
Championship points will be awarded to the first fifteen eligible finishers per class in accordance with Championship rules.

 

COURSE: Held on private land, the multi route combined course will consist of 3 laps of 12 sections.
It is estimated that one lap will be approximately 1 mile in length.
Sections shall be ridden in the correct order on each lap and competitors risk exclusion if they fail to comply with this instruction.

 

Routes (By Class): B Class ride Route #1, C Class (Standard Wh.) ride Route #2, C Class (MW) ride 50% Route #2 & 50% Route #3,
D Class (MW) ride Route #3, D Class (Small Wheel) ride Route #4.

 

METHOD OF MARKING & TIES: As per TSR 22(B). Ties will be resolved as per TSR 23.

 

PROTESTS: Protests as per National Sporting Code of the ACU, section 10.04
