What a fascinating day.
Hi Guy’s.
Well I spent the day at Stoneleigh Park. In the company of two of the nicest guy’s your are ever likely to meet, and both of them true professionals in there own chosen career.
The two were “Magical” Mick Andrews, and Alan Whitton.
We were there to check out the terrain for the sections. In the fast approaching Classic Trials Show. www.classictrialsshow.com.
A truly “Magical” day, not only did I get to ride that superb piece of British Engineering, Alan’s, James. But also was treated to a superb demonstration of Classic trials bike riding by the “master” Mick, and I might add without any “Bunny Hopping”.
I also got the top mans opinion of the current Classic Trials scene.
Alan gave me a tour around the inside of a Triumph Cub engine, and demonstrated to me the amount of skilled, work that goes into putting one of these babies together properly. And said that the factory could have built them to this standard if they had so wished.
The main thing I learnt though was the amount of knowledge that these superb professionals have, and the amount of willingness they have to share it, with other people that are as dedicated to the Classic Trials Bike scene.
By the way get your entries in for the event it should be a spectacular week ends entertainment for every one.

Regards Charlie.

Hi Guy's

Hi OTF.
Bring her along, What better place for a birthday party is there.
You can buy her a present for your bike, at the impressive array of trade stands and auto jumble that will be coming.
Then after the days entertainment watching the cream of trials riders from the sixties onwards compete on four stroke bikes from that age or replicas of the same.
Or spend an hour gazing at the array of Classic British Trials bikes, on the show stands, And the bikes on the stand named, "How Long Has That Been in The Back of The Shed". And if that is not enough for her , then there's the Bands,Beer, and "Bike Talk", well into the evening.
Hope this does not sound to much like an advert, Andy. be in touch next week.

Regards Charlie.
