  1. if this was the marzzochi forks then the bushings do not bring out the seal, it will slide right past it only the older forks pre 2005 pulled out the seal with the stanchion. on the gassers im talking about.
  2. measure clutch pack and adjust with steel plates to measure between 9.75mm and 9.85mm and it should be cock on at that. use atf dexron iid thats mineral blend, been using that for seven years in pros and never had an issue. you can buy the plates seperate from gas gas uk in various thickness check out the website or i think apico are doing a set now with varying plates.
  3. its funny how the s3 clubmans championship passed by peacefully last year as non stop, but this year because of the acu british championship going non stop its become a really hot topic. The Acu in my opinion should have just left the championship class stop permitted and perhaps made it slightly less daunting to encourage others into the class, that way the top lads then are still in line with europe and wtc to which they obviously aspire. the next class and all other trials national, and centre could remain non stop where the land then lent itself to this non stop marking if the club running the trial deemed it so. Telecat is correct everyone involved riders as well should understand their rule book, its there to help not just to hinder.
  4. mmmm! i think the wheels have just come off transits van !!

  6. "U HAVE TO GO 4RT BEST BIKES BEEN DOWN THE SHERCO THING AND NEVER AGAIN NEARLY GAVE THE SPORT UP. " you said that about the Beta 4t 18 MONTHS AGO, before you fell out with it Justin. NOUGHT WRONG WITH ANY MODERN TRIALS BIKE, NOT MUCH BETWEEN THEM ITS PERSONAL CHOICE. TRY THEM ALL ROB BEFORE YOU JUMP.
  7. yes quite possible. clean bushing up and inspect replace if neccesary, put new o rings in and try that.whlist your there though you might as well change the seal as well.
  8. along with the gearbox seal that you can see behind the sprocket there are 2 diffrent size o rings also that fit over the shaft behind the sprocket and iside the seal and its probably these that want replacing. clean up well and run bike to see where oil is tracking from, then make a decision. if it were me i would replace the seal as well. lay bike on side take sprocket off and tease out o rings and carefully remove seal without damaging housing, its an easy job. look up parts diagrams on gas gas uk site for part numbers.
  9. faulty cut out switch earthing itself out ?? disconnect and try again/

  12. its called european harminisation, europe harminises and the uk stands on the sidelines wondering why its been stitched up once again!
  13. had this happen recently to my lads 09 after s3 round. pretty sure its the wave washer broke in the cartridge. washers cheap to buy and are more like a shim. take the lot out then dissasemble cartridge ie there is a small clip just inside of end of cartridge remove that then take out parts slowly and methodicly and investigate, lay all parts out in order for reasembly. you must load the cartidge full of oil after assembley before putting back into stanchion. If you are ok at maintenance then this procedure you can do. if its the washer broken which is common you wont believe that such a small part will cause this amount of trouble but it has an effect on the oil being squeeezed the baffles in the cartridge. hope this helps mate.

perhaps they paid GJ 3k to ride and showcase the bike so they are trying to get some brass back??
  15. check that the water pump is actually pumping as it should be. from cold take off your rad top and start bike with fuel tank removed ,just make sure you have enough fuel in carb to run it for this brief check. when the engine runs you should be able to see the coolant pumping inside the neck. if not then the pump impeller could be not turning. the rad should not be hissing or bubbling. if all is ok you could check that the cap is ok, its possible its letting bye but unlikely.
