I had horrendous trouble finding a piston that was the same as the one in my seeley, the parts were not listed and ended up having to pay for a few returns until I found the correct one
good luck and I hope they fit
-
Mine has been fine since this modifications
-

Got me stumped this one
Starts first kick, will tickover for ages. Will rev up if throttle opened slowly. Snap throttle open to full throttle and it sounds Luke it's going to die but keeps running .Knock throttle off and it ticks over again
I have put new plug in, cleaned out internals of throttle body, plenty of fuel, clean air filter
Any ideas

hello
the gasgas rims matched the honda hubs, the rims were powder coated, the hubs stripped and tlr stainless spokes
-
Respol graphics were one off specials I got a local sticker company to make
Steering angle made a difference, but not as much as Gasgas gorks
-
roy thursby, top bloke, really helpful
-
i use the gasgas yokes with the reflex centre shaft from reflex yokes and a bit of machining
-
not weighed it, it wont be much lighter than std reflex, main difference will be the forks, maybe 2kg
-
this still gets used every weekend, so no museum peices here
yes the rims were changed for gasgas, but only because the originals were steel chromed
-
-
wheel base is 133cm spindle to spindle, 4rt is 135cm
forgot to look at sprockets, i think 11 front, 42 rear
-
thanks for the questions
its a shedworks tank on the red one, aluminium tank (better with modern fuel) , fibreglass shroud, any colour you want,
the white bike, i dont know, was on when i bought it, plastic tank, fibreglass shroud
wheelbase i will have to check, matched the fork angle to the 4rt
you can get old gasgas or beta shocks and yoke for £100,. so its your choice, makes a massive difference with rockshocks and good forks
-
the swing arm and fork covers are 4rt ones, trimmed slightly
-
very nice
all the things you have put back to original, i have removed
-
rode it today at richmond trial but was let down by carb flooding, took most of the trial to sort it out , manged to still get 1 1/2 laps in so tried it out
the front springs are very soft even with loads of preload, think they might be 125 gasgas
rode great other wise
swapped carb and forks from other bike, out again tomorrow to try again
-
just finished this, going to test ride tomorrow
started out as a tlr 200 reflex
the head stock was cut through the tubes
backing plates were added inside the tubes and fully butt welded
you can see the difference in this picture
the footpegs were lowered and s3 pegs added, all surplus brackets removed and painted black
the engine was paint stripped and the head removed to sort some leaks
gasgas forks were added as my other tlr
then the new bits started to arrive, new tank, rear mudguard, front mudguard, front pipe, rear exhaust, handle bars, fork guards, swing arm guards, alloy shocks, wheels powder coated and new spokes, new custom decals
-
i thought you were on section 7 aswell? was looking forward to seeing you get one of gary putting a foot down
-
how do you always manage to get a scary one of me, any chance of emailing them over
thanks
peter
-
i like it, i was trying to get a ty80 tank for mine , but that is a good alternative
like the colour scheme, how about black hubs and polished rims and spokes
you could also paint the yokes and the forks yellow to follow the look through
how does it ride with the shocks laid like that, i modded a ty frame but didnt lean them that much
-
theres another one with a sticker on this time!!! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/160857393397?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
