  1. Hi Dave thanks for that, I know Richard very well as yet he doesn't have the clothing I'm after , I may give Steve Monk a call to see if he knows of anything later. With all the retro Fantic riders all over Europe you would think someone would have done this by now. If only Dave Anderson (Anson) was still operating he would make us some kit up thats for sure.
  2. Good evening feet uppers ! This has probably been discussed time and time again but I would like to ask the community if anyone knows if its possible to get hold of early 80's Fantic Motor style clothing preferably Brema. I still have my old riding kit form the 80's but it's a bit rank and a bit uncomfortable compared to modern kit. (Photo is 1985 on a Michaud Replica 300)
  3. Thanks Tony27, I have seen Splashops site, it was our mechanic that suggested a flex adjuster before getting the drill and taps out, so far all I've found are flexi adjusters for the air screw though, honestly would have thought there would be a product about but there isn't ..... time to make some I think !
  4. Can anyone please advise me if there is an idol flexi adjuster available for a Keihin PWK 28 . The carb needs to be adjusted on the left hand side as per Gas Gas / Sherco, Jotagas, my carb has the air screw on the left and the idol adjuster on the right ( impossible to reach ) I know you can buy an air screw flexi adjuster for Beta's but can not find anything for an idol adjuster.

  6. Would be very keen to know : 1: what do the 4RT community consider to be a good all round sprocket set up ? 2: It appears an S3 280 conversion kit is a straight "bolt on and ride" without having to do any extra machining work to cranks and cases etc. I am very tempted to buy one as I feel it may give extra talky power of the bottom , right or wrong ? I am an ageing expert that still likes to have a go but feel sometimes my 250 is a bit weak when pulling a higher gear from short approaches. Lowering the gearing , i.e.: 43 on the rear made it manageable in technical areas but I felt all gears were to short. My bike currently has a mitani clutch and exhaust system and I am lead to believe is running a Sans setting. Rear sprocket is a 41. Look forward to hearing experienced views on these subjects Chris
  7. Fairly new to Montesa world and to 4T world so not entirely sure what the standard plug should look like on examination. I have a Repsol 250 with a single programable body running a Liar Sanz setting, my tick over is pretty standard ( ie: higher than a 2T ) Everytime I have taken the plug out to check it's been sooted up with a fine carbon dust, the bike runs really well and runs out very very clean but could any 4RT gurus tell me should my plug be this colour ? Chris
  8. In a quest to save weight on my 4RT I have considered un-plugging the bank sensor and removing it, will it still run though ?
