  1. Earlier shocks had white for soft black for standard and yellow for hard Now they are all yellow with weight printed on side. I know this doesn't help answer your question tho. I think standard on new ones is 70nm so yellow would be 75-80nm I guess
  2. Take the air box off I find....undo both jubilee clips who the lot moves to make it easier...bit tricky when re-installing but persevere and it will go on
  3. Just looked it up...68 is standard
  4. From memory 68 is standard. Ty trials does s big bore kit which takes it to 270cc. Involves a bore out to 70 (again from memory)
  5. Except a frame geromity change Gasgas has been the same for 13 years.....hard to see where factories go from here, have we peaked? Do we need carbon fibre frames next?
  6. 40,000 pikeys can't be wrong
  7. Also this sport seems so reluctant to punish people for fear of upsetting anyone....no show should mean no entry the following year
  8. I also agree, as someone who had there entry returned at the jack wood to find that 29 didn't start. Personally I think the s3 championship needs a mix up. The experts want harder and harder trials, so why not put them at the front when it's at its hardest. Then put the clubmen route at the back who are after a steady day out. Also as the clubmen route often provide 50%+ of the entry can we have a championship where the top 2 or 3 progress to the S3 champs or ride for no award the following year. I managed to get a late ride at the jack wood but felt that the clubmen riders where there just to make the numbers up. The trial wouldn't be viable without clubmen riders
  9. Airline and locking wire, did use brake cleaner last time and that evaporated away fine
  10. I moved from a 300 gasser to a 2008 4rt. I love it. I'm a big lad so can still move it about. I don't ride as much nowadays so 6 months on I am still learning. Basically I think Im not riding aswell as I used to but even when I have a rubbish ride I always have a smile on my face. On the gasser I got annoyed with myself a lot. I am looking at a new one I love it that much. A lot of guys seem to be looking towards the Hondas now.
  11. I bought a cheap white board and hung if in the garage....I then write service dates and what is done on it for easy reference. Depending on how anal you are can put as much or as little info as you want on it
  12. Don't think it's as simple as buying new spacers. Take both wheels and measure the hub offset. Put a straight edge across the bearing and measure from the edge of the rim up to the straight edge. Think they will be very different. My dad changed an early Sherco wheel to fit my gasser by making his own spacers on a lathe
  13. I saw more then 4 new 2014 4rts in the Scottish, all road reg
  14. Sorry my mistake......id want paying if I were getting screwed
