I've been enduro riding in the area around Alhaurain El Grande with ORO and know the terrain is incredible but does anyone know about the local trials scene, clubs, events etc. Cheers Dom

I watched the qualification section in Spain and found the format entertaining. Seems like the qualifying in Japan was even more exciting, what with Dibs being the only rider to clean and have the fastest time,

Problem is with the organiser and not the promoter. I'm sure their will be a huge effort going on behind the scenes to ensure the event happens.

It appears that a new 2014 model is being launched next month.Described as completely renovated , not quite sure what that means but sounds positive, we will have to see. As regards Dakar, HRC now has a rally team and a competitive bike which competed in Dakar 2013 and they will be back in 2014. The even better news is their is a very promising British rider, Sam Sunderland in the team. A definite future Dakar winner.

It's a big pity for Doug and Great Britain that he did not get selected for the Team, his experience and presence alone would surely have been a boost to the confidence of the other Team Members. At least the other Teams will be glad. Never the less good luck to our boys.

Well it's been a while since i posted anything on the TC Forum, but now is the time of year when my 4RT gets its annual outing to Doug's Trial School. My friend who looks after my bike, whilst i am overseas,recently discovered that the bar mounts that hold the fat bars to the Hope Top Yokes are cracked. Rather than replace the whole set does anyone know of a manufacturer who provides such bar mounts that will fit. I have seen Renthal ones for other makes of bike but i am unsure as to whether they will work. Thanks in advance.

The point is there were just as many very good riders capabable of winning in Doug's reign,as there was during Tarres the fact is none, except maybe Fujigas, did challenge for the title because Doug was so dominant.

you can add Tarres, Kuroyama, Friexa, Jarvis, Cabestany, Raga, Colley, Cobos to the list of contenders. Doug's record speaks for itself.

In the meantime he has paid off his victim. I have no sympathy for him, its just a shame they don't have the electric chair in California anymore otherwise he should fry. Just because he's 76 and has had some tragic incidents in his life deosn't mean he should get away with what is one of the must hideous of crimes.

I've heard the 2009 XC Ting Repsol Montesa riding gear is mega expensive on account of the fact that Repsol now want royalties.
