  1. Any idea why the out clutch housing and the pump itself have the hole/bore then? Not seeing the point unless it was just a feature used on a different platform. Also, this is a brand new clutch case! The hole is about 1.5 inches further into the crank case than where the clutch case meets the crank case.
  2. Hey folks.. just doing a water pump seal and noticed behind the water pump a deeper hole with some sort of irregular shaped foil hole behind it. I'm chasing a problem with coolant in the oil, and what seems like an air leak. The foil is thin... and not circular, and appears to connect the water pump directly to the crank case. I'm assuming this is a problem! Can I just plug this hole? Its odd that it is not co-planar with the crankcase gasket. Circled it in the picture.
  3. I will try this and report back, thanks! UPDATE: This worked somewhat! I went through two cycles, and had the rotor sizzling. The rotor changed color too; dark chrome now. I can definitely get the rear wheel off the ground with one finger now! Thanks!
  4. New moto trials rider. 2006 Beta Rev3. I'm trying to get the rear wheel off the ground to do some endos and whatnot. I'm not finding the power I really need to get this done. I've tried "jumping" like I've read in a different thread, but it doesn't seem to happen. I can nose wheelie and endo a bicycle with ease, using one finger on the brake. The only way i'm able to get enough power on the moto is to use two fingers and pull really hard. As I'm new to moto trials I'm wondering if the front brake needs maintenance? Or is this just a technique thing? The pads look thick and everything looks clean. Plenty of fluid too. Is it common to need two fingers or should one light pull be enough? Beta stock brakes.
