  1. Hi. You posted on my intro three years back that you were starting out too. Seems you've taken to it and even bought similar bike. Do you still go to the farm near Kiddy? If so would you mind if I tagged along one day in the future for my first run? Wouldn't want to just show up and accidentally p*** someone off by doing something stupid.  I'll add my number. Feel free to text or call.

    Cheers

Good day Alan, apologies i have only just seen your message. I have only been out Kidderminster way once, i did find a place to practice more local to me (Stratford/Warwick) although that is not available now. I have joined Earl Shilton club and very occasionally practice there but mainly just ride in competitions now, Stratford, Evesham and Leamington clubs. Not sure what stage you are at but if you ever want to ride in a trial out this way let me know i will help you through your first trial. It's harder than it looks and quite demoralising at times when you start but stick with it. It is very enjoyable once it starts coming together.

      Good luck, Mark

  2. So much for the early night... Earl Shilton looks amazing but it's a lot further so unless there's anything else between Birmingham and Coventry then I'll set the farm near Kiddy as my home ground is there a club associated with the place? Apologies in advance if I ask the questions you've answered a hundred times but nudge me in the direction of a previous-post, my current knowledge/skill gauge is empty (or numpty)
  3. Belated thanks guys. Unfortunately I screwed my back up pretty badly, that and the financial fallout that followed has been a life changer for a self employed carpenter but I'm up and able again and want to pick up where I left off (yes before I'd even started!) I found the place near Kiddy it looked great, I need to look up Earl Shilton Get bike out of storage and fire it up, swap oil and fuel and get myself a lot fitter so need to start really steady but I'd rather wobble around on a motorbike that sit in a gym. No offence Gym...
  4. Always fancied trials riding as far back as kickstart with Peter Purvis but never actually tried it. At 54 (now 57) I might be starting late but if I don't do anything too crazy I should be okay. Question is where do I ride in or near Birmingham and is there a local club? UPDATE: ive bought a Beta 250 (see pic)
