  1. Having trouble messaging. ian.ballard@sky.com
  2. Mainly things like the sub frame on the original is brazed at the footrest joint and a lot of the others have bolt up sub frames. A good site is bsaotter.com and if you e mail a picture to Charlie he would be very interested as he is trying to record all known ones.
  3. The drain bolt is at the bottom of the down tube, below the outlet pipe. Lay under bike and it's in the middle of the tube, approx 10 mms bolt. I fill both of mine until you can just see oil in the top tube, then run the engine for a few minutes to get all the oil up and check again. I then fill until it's just under the return pipe, but don't worry if you go too high as it just comes out the breather. Cheers The above is for a genuine Foster Otter, not sure on the copies.
  4. Have a look at Waltham Chase website, most of there venues are under 1 hour from Basingstoke and they are running around 24 events next year. Also local clubs like Aldermaston Nomads and Basingstoke run regular club events. Nomads have a trial end of month at Mortimer, really for classic bikes but must be near you if you wanted to take a look.
