If Lynn and Dorothy Mobley we’re your previous spares vendor, I believe they sold on all their Bultaco parts to Ralph and Carol Weilding.

Model 159 Sherpa T 350 (325cc), manufactured between September 1975 and March 1976.

It should all line up, with the Cylinder Transfer Ports, the Piston Skirts and Cutaways matching. Is that an original piston (Mahle) or a aftermarket replacement?

I’m just about to have my 199B painted and would love to know what the correct colours are .
I recall that back in the day legend had it, that Bultaco painted the Forks and the Top & Bottom Yokes in Finnish Blue and the rest of the 199B (Tank and Side Panels) were finished in RAL 5015. Bearing in mind we received the 199B with a Polypropylene (Plastic) Tank here in Ireland and not the Homerlite metal Tank.

In 40 years I have yet to come across a 199B specific manual.
I recall that back in the day the factory produced a hand written version of the Spare Parts Manual.
It basically was a 199 Spare Parts manual with 199B specific parts, written in long hand on the relevant page. No additional illustrations.
Thinking about it, there never really was a 199A specific parts manual either. Well at least I never saw one at the importer’s, I worked in.

Don’t forget there was the 50 mythical 6 speed 198B’s, that the French Importer some how managed to get built at the very last throw of the dice.

The 325 came with a Bing Carburettor, so totally different. Although the numbers might sound similar a Bing 150 will not correspond in anyway with that of a Amal 150.
The best advice received, is dump the Amal and get a Mikuni.

The very first batch of 198 & 199 came with Fibreglass Tanks.
I had one on my very first Sherpa, which I recently found buried in our shed and have started to restore it.

I presume you been in touch with Hugh’s Bultaco and Ralph’s Bultaco Parts US?
Ralph, bought all of Jan Mobley’s stock.
I believe Hogan Cycle Parts have stopped taking orders since February. I have no idea if they plan to restart, or sell their stock on to someone else.

Every Bultaco that came out of the factory was 6v (barely 🤣😂)
The Electrex World system can now offer 12v that can support LED lighting etc.

You are spot on with that one.
That’s a good price as well.
A lot of the Sherpa riders use this Airbox, as the later type Sherpa199/A/B all had Airboxes that were quite fiddly to access and work on. Especially the one on the 199B.

Yes, I would have said M80 Sherpa T 250, they were manufactured from Sept 1971 to March 1972.
Lovely bikes, plenty of spare parts available to do a full restoration.

Have any of you guys had dealings with Ivan Cirre Motos, near Barcelona.
I placed a order two weeks ago and have received no confirmation of shipping, or tracking number.
I have sent a message through their website and a couple of emails without reply.

It has the shape of the preceding model, the 198/199, however they were red in colour. The 198/199 had fibreglass tanks for the first 700/800 bikes off the production line, which switched to the plastic tank after that. The stripe on the side of the tank is from the early production run 198/199 as well.
Ive never encountered one with that type of breather pipe or push on filler cap. More than likely a aftermarket job. I think I can make out SM on the Bultaco graphic.

The Tank is for the second to last Sherpa T 199A/198A
The date of manufacture (Herstellungsdatum) is 05.1978, May ‘78.
