  1. My Camo (16') always needs the throttle 1/2 open. Strange cause I've never owned a FI engine that you even touch the throttle on start up.
  2. Mine looks like it's been rubbing the washer but not the bolt yet. No signs of impact,,,,,,, yet. lol
  3. Got the 550 gram weight kit(Vertigo kit). Shifter hits the case. Any fixes out there or am I resorting to grinding down the shifter?
  4. I can tell you the maps make a difference and I'm a beginner. I've been riding for over 40 years but new to trials(so maybe not a complete beginner). The bike always starts on map 1 and if I leave it there I crash. Just too responsive for me. I switch to 3 but lately liking map 2. If I recall map 3 is for mud and 4 is high elevation. They all run clean at elevation.
  5. So far I've rode from 2000' elevation up to 9000'. FI is spot on everywhere. Starts easy hot or cold. If you had to check a TPS it's easy. Only need a volt meter.
  6. I had a woodpecker issue. lol. Didn't sale the house just for the bike. Just lucky enough to get a once in a life time deal on a foreclosure. Bought it for 25K. Three years and 80k total sold for 550k. I think you blokes would buy a Ti RR also. Not getting a Ferrari or even new Ford just an RR. It will put me in the doghouse with the mrs. for sure. Um, better to ask forgiveness than permission right?
  7. I'm told 60-70 units world wide and 5 to the US. To put US pricing in perspective, my camo was $9,500 OTD. '16 Beta Factory Evo 300 $8,499, '16 KTM SX450 factory edition is $10,299. Ti RR is $13,500. Yes, that's expensive. So was the Camo in my opinion. But look what you get for that 4k. Over here Ti Axles can run anywhere from $200 to $800(just to set the cost of Ti). Ti headers are $600-$800. Mag cases for the Beta are $600. So that leaves $2,600 for Ti frame, Mag swingarm and more adjustable shock. I think your getting your moneys worth. 4kg lighter.
  8. I'm building a C/F one. Clip on with a lip on top to mount the lights and button on. Search on ebay motors, trials number plate. A guy in Oklahoma sales some plastic ones.
  9. I got lucky and sold a rental property. lol. True story. I don't know 5th or 500th but I'm 5 on the list for US import. I wish I could talk #2 into switching me positions. I have VIN 002 on my Camo.
  10. Thanks guys. I'll pick up a 9 volt battery charger.
  11. What are you guys putting in for replacement battery? Mine is dead. Looking at 9.6 volt 230 MAH NiMH or a 9 volt 1200 MAH lithium.
  12. HaHa, figured it out. It's just the little light they come with. My Camo is VIN 002 for the US so it was early and didn't get this. I do have the headlight wiring so I'll make something up.
  13. Anybody know anything about this? Need to put lights on my bike.
  14. Hello all, I wish I could give you a ride report but, considering my Camo is my first trials bike you all would say what the heck does he know. Seems this is the only forum with any info on the Vertigo so I joined. Took a trials class on a Raga 280. Went looking for a used Ossa and wound up with this. I ride from 6,000 ft el. on up. FI is spot on. Don't have the issue others have talked about. It runs clean all the way down to stalling the engine. I do know FI some as I tune my own FI bikes. Even went to an FI school to get certified. Anyways, I confirm that map 1 is not for me yet. The bike feels 100% right instantly for me. Been playing on a Freeride KTM the last year. Going to enter a trials this weekend. My riding buddy just bought a Beta factory so this weekend I will be able to give some feedback at least compared to a Beta.
