  3. Just wondering, what do you guys and gals eat days prior an event and during an event? I load up on good carbs and fluids few days before the event, and eat small healthy snacks throughout the day of the trials. Water and something like Gatorade during, water and magnesium before. I used to eat a massive carb breakfest on the morning of the trials, but feeling a lot better with the current, lighter way of eating. I seem to struggle with cramps from time to time on the last 5-10 sections of a trials, other than that I feel pretty good. How about you guys? Always looking for new tips and tricks.
  4. How can I get more free play? The adjustment in the lever is not even half way through. The feeling in the lever is good at the moment when it works properly. When it over heats it gets horrible.
  5. I'm having a huge issue with my 2020 TRS 250 OneR with front brake overheating and locking up. I've done just about everything else, except removing the clip. Took it out today after reading this topic and so far the brake works good. Gonna take it for a long ride on Tuesday and hope it still works allright. P.S. that clip is an absolute pain in the ass to install anyways, so it's great if it's really not needed and it fixes the problem...
  6. I'm sorry to say this and don't get me wrong, but motorcycles are dangerous. Plain and simple. Have you watched supercross or motocross? The riders are absolutely amazing athletes and what a beautiful sport motocross is, but there has been and there will always be horrific injuries - no matter what they do to the rules. It sucks, but I guess every rider accepts the risks while they sign up for a race. Unfortunately, same applies to trials - once Gelabert sent that Sherco wide open to that crazy section and broke his face, he accepted the risks before the first gate and went for it. Unfortunately I don't see any ways to change that, at least not as long as Bou keeps dominating the series. This may sound dull, but what we are witnessing with Toni Bou right now, is absolutely amazing and something we will never see again. A rider like that is born once every 50-years, if even that. If you don't want to see Bou out there "ruining" the sport for every other rider, you should speak directly to Honda and recommend them to pay a seven figure amount of Euros for Bou to retire. Bou is the Ricky Carmichael of trials, and a bit more. RC did two perfect seasons in the AMA Nationals back in the days (winning 24 motos out of 24) and "ruined" the sport for anyone else. I just don't see any way out of this situation right now until Toni retires. By making the sections easier and safer, you make Bou go 0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0... That would suck even more than the current situation.
  7. Hi! I have a ´17 Scorpa SC 300 factory. Recently, a rattling sound appeared while stationary, and it goes away once I release the clutch enough that the real wheel starts to pull. It's definitely coming from the clutch/tranny area, any ideas? Is the basket worn out so the plates rattle just a bit and create that noise?
  8. Hi! I'm looking for trials gear, but I really don't know about the sizing. I'm a big guy, 190cm/108kg and I'm looking for gear that would fit a bit looser than your average trials gear. I have no problem finding gear from MX/enduro gear brands, as they make larger gear that fits good as well. It seems like trials gear is always in XS-XXL sizes, pants included. Any other bigger guys here, what brand do you use, and which size are you using? I guess I'm between the XL-XXL range. I think I will have more problems with the shirt sizing, not so much with the pants. I have rather wide back/shoulders, as well as some good old belly. I don't want to look like a sausage while riding, so a bit looser fit with the shirt would be awesome.
  9. Damn, I hate people who do that. Throwing junk out in the nature in the first place is not cool, let alone throwing them in the places that are constantly under supervision anyways.
