  1. Decided to go for mich X11's. will let you know how it goes
  2. Thanks for the reply oni nou. Does the noticable difference make the xlite better than the x11 in your opinion? Tom
  3. Thanks for the input lads. I am a beginner really but my current tyres are shocking. Losing me valuable points in the boggier section, my nobbles are totally rounded and about 12mm high. I have ridden MX and road bikes for ever and know that now i'm trying to compete they need changing. Will see how much i can get the X11's for. Will i feel the X11 is the same as the dunlop gp? Tom
  4. Do we think the Dunlops are not worth buying then? They are on ebay for £157 a pair. My bike is 2006 so not a fancy bike with the new style wheels. Tom
  5. Hi, yes i rang like everyplace that came up on google. (UK) Which sites are showing tubless rears in stock? thanks Tom
  6. Hi, anybody know where there are any IRC tubless rear tyres? I have rang about today and nobody has them. I fancied IRC as the general consensus is that they are the best in mud and are hard wearing, however equal to michelin everywhere else. Are the dunlop 803 GP noticeably worse? I currently have a way past due dunlop on the rear and i am massively struggling for grip in anything remotely muddy. thanks in advance

    Tyres

Thanks for the responses guys. The nobbles on my tyres are very rounded so will need to replace them shortly. I think i will go for dunlop or IRC,not sure i can justify spending £170 for some xlite tyres with all my other motorcyle hobbies! My rear tyre can also lose a couple psi over a day period and i read about trying to keep the spokes sealed. Just another quick one for anybody else with a rev3. When the rear tyre is deflated or very low pressure, either under the weight of the bike, or when the bike is on a centre stand. The tyre sidewall rubs on the chain slider pivot bolt in the swingarm. When the tyre is inflated it's not an issue, maybe just shows how old and out of shape my tyres are...... Everything is fitted correctly e.g wheel spacers etc. Anybody had that before? I have the standard type rims and based in Hartlepool (north east england). Cheers

    Tyres

Hi, thanks for the reply. However just as with other forums i have used in the past, the search function is not too helpful. From the few bits i have found xlite seems to be the best. Is there some kind of comparison thread? Including typical prices etc. Thanks Tom

    Tyres

Hi Everyone. The tyres on my bike are pretty worn out. Question is, what tyres should i be buying and where is the cheapest place to get them. I'm riding a 06 rev3 for anybody that is interested.
