  1. Had a look today and inner spacer is about 1mm and I nicked the outside with a hacksaw so not hardened just waiting till I can get in a lathe at work now. Is there any I should be looking at when assembling the clutch
  2. Cheers I'll have a look Tomorrow
  3. Do you think the spacers will be hardened at all
  4. So the outer spacer is counterbored to go over the circlip and come up against the inner spacer/ shim and the overall thickness of the two spacers is 3.4 to 3.54
  5. Hello I've got the cases together with your advice thank you and everything spins free and nice but I think I'm missing a shim from behind the clutch basket. There's a shim against the bearing then a circlip should there be another shim that the needle rollers run against rather than against the circlip. If there is does anyone know the dimensions Cheers Dan
  6. Thanks for advice again. I think it was gear lever seal I couldn't get think it was 15 mm I.D instead of 14 mm. I'm just waiting for them to be delivered. I'll replace both crank seals and see how I go on with the ones I couldn't get. I should be able to change them without splitting cases. I'll let you know how I get on Cheers
  7. Do I fit right hand main bearing into case first and pull onto crank or fit bearing to crank and pull case onto bearing Cheers Dan
  8. Thanks for your advise I'll give it ago at weekend. I'm surprised I couldn't get all the oil seals to match correct sizes. Old ones don't seem too worn and are still flexible without any cracks etc so I'll re use and see how goes cheers again Dan
  9. Hello I'm rebuilding a 240 engine fitting new bearings to the bottom end has anyone got any tips which bearings to fit in cases first do I build crank and gearbox into right hand case then fit left hand case with bearings already in it to crank and gearbox Thanks in advance Dan
