     The Falcon standard trials piston has been designed to minimize turbulence in the oil as it moves through the ports in the piston.

    The gas pressure in any shock is designed to help reduce vacuum and cavitation in the oil, ensuring constant damping at whatever damper piston speed you achieve on a twinshock trials bike.

      Yep totally agree with your comments, I used to teach this technology to motor vehicle engineering year three students and apprentices. Cavitation was/is the problem many a designer has been caught out with, especially in the cooling systems. 

      Gas in the damper also helps when the damper fluid gets hot, Nitrogen being one of the stable gases as it remains relatively stable with temperature increase. Enter the remote chamber to help with consistency.
