  1. Just been reading Andy's offer of reducing the cost of advertising. It's a really generous offer from someone who already does so much for trials. We should all continue to support TC (and trials in general) as much as we can and kep it going from strength to strength! Well done and thanks Andy!

YOU COULD TRY DAVID SILVER SPARES from Suffolk. There phone number is 01728 833020. They are very helpful and fast service.I use them for TLR spares. GOOD LUCK. Mike.
  5. give GARY a call @ HIGHLAND LEISURE SPORT ( 01349 854620 ). He's in your neck of the woods and may give you a idea whats wrong. ALSO VERY GOOD FOR SPARES , CLOTHING ETC. Good luck. Mike.
  6. Bootswise, why not try SIDIs or Gaerne - both nice and comfy, apparently, but not in animal fur or white - far too gay! Hilly
  7. From a purely aesthetic point of view I would say unless you have a great bod - go for two pieces. There's nothing worse, from a women's point of view, than a big beer belly going round in a tight lycra one-piece! Only entertaining for so long!! Also you can mix and match tops and bottoms and get several outfits! On a more serious note, my better half (who also used to ride enduros and tried using the same gear) says the best change he made was getting trials boots, much easier than heavy enduro-style boots. Hope this helps!! Hilly.
  8. try DAVID SILVER SPARES on 01728 833020. they are very good to deal with, fast service. CHEERS mike
  9. Just got one of these jackets. The build quality seems to be very good with lots of features. There's a rear pocket, side and front pockets. The arms are detachable, it's got a quilted zip out liner and soft touch collar lining. There are also zips that can be opened for ventilation in the warmer weather (ha, ha!) It's a good sturdy construction but is also very light to wear. The rear of the jacket is slightly longer, which is a good thing. It has "Jitsie" printed on the arms and on the rear at the bottom, with rubber decals at the top rear and neck fastner. The only down side I can see is the collar is very short and will give no protection in bad weather. Wore it at a trial for the first time today. It was a wet and muddy event and jacket was very comfortable and I stayed dry, but wore buff neck tube as the collar is short. I would certainly recommend anyone that's thinking of getting one to go for it! Mike.
  10. If you want to learn about riding trials you should get yourself booked onto a Steve Saunders Trials School! Not speaking from personal experience but I have been and watched and it looked like so much fun I was tempted! Why settle for anything less than the best teaching you?! His website has a link from Trials Central - think its SES (Saunders Extreme Sport).
  11. Many thanks to everyone of the observers at the new year trial today. I dont think it could of rained any harder if it tried ! It must have been a very long day for you all. THANKS AGAIN. PS. GREAT TRIAL BY THE WAY LADS! mike
  12. Well done Gordon, You kept this very quiet! It couldn't have gone to a better person - very well deserved. Buy some warm gloves!! You put in such a lot of hard work with results from everywhere and photos from me and Bill, etc and get everyone interested in Trials Central. Doing all this on a Sunday evening really shows how dedicated you are to trials in general. You will be a hard act to follow next year! Hil.
  13. ive also had two 315rs and two scorpas, and would say go for the sy,as its alot easier to ride. but both are good bikes.
  14. World Round is scheduled to be on Satellite station 410 Eurosport UK tomorrow (Thursday 9th) evening at 8pm for half an hour!
