Hi - we posted last week just before we picked up Pat's new toy on the Beta forum.....well we got it, so now we can relax and do 'proper intro'.....Hello we are Pat & Crystal.........Pat rides and Crystal types!! Pat got a 1998 Techno 250 for his first Trials Motorcycle (5th Motorcycle in all) (I think Motorcycles are to Men what Shoes are to Women - it seems you Never Have Enough) Anyway, for starters, we would appreciate any tips, links 4 beginners, etc. and especially a recommendation for a US based Magazine that would have the most focus on this sport. Thanks so much for your input - we picked up hubby's new toy today - he has Always wanted a Trials 'bike' - we think it's a 1998 according to the info (frame#) provided by the other response - but the seller insisted it was a 285.......we'll know soon enough --- Pat's gotta 'do his thing' - tune it up, ck it out, etcetcetc.

Hello - we (hubby & I) are new to this site & new to Trials. Tomorrow we are going to p/u hubby's first 'bike' - It's a 1997 Beta Lampkin Replica 285cc....but when I try to research it, all that comes up are 250's.....any suggestions?......a 285cc does exist, right? Also, any links for beginners (especially videos) would be greatly appreciated. Hope to post soon (and hopefully Not w/ a Medical Report - lol) Pat & Crystal
