Hey Spensor, Ted B did the work. He just put a new fork seal in his, now he has a slow leak!! What is he doing wrong?? Now I'm paying for it! lol Thanks

So I had my bike fully freshened up a couple months ago. I went to use it for the first time last weekend and both fork seals were leaking!! ;-( All we did was fresh oil in the forks for that portion of the tune up. The fork seals were not leaking before! What could cause this? I removed the dust covers and cleaned that area out. I also took a thin firm paper and ran it around the fork seal to get any crap out of there. It worked for a bit and then started leaking again. I usually keep the bike on a stand with the wheels in the air when not riding it. I took it off the stand now so its just resting on it's own weight now. Any suggestions??

So turning it clockwise will make it more bouncy?

Question, I have the Evo 290. If I buy the front part of the bosi exhaust for now, will it tie in with the stock evo silencer?? The full exhaust costs about $1000 US to buy. I would like to do it in two parts. Thanks

I'm considering these boots for next year. I'm in Canada and wear a 10.5. I guess that would be the US size as well. I have a pretty wide foot. What size should I order of these No Stop boots? Anyone own them that have a wide foot and wear a 10.5 to sz 11 running shoe?? Thanks. I'd like to hear some reviews on the boot to.

I have been riding with this brace the last month and a half. http://www.podmx.com/ Unbelievable brace. I hyper extended my right knee riding. After tweaking it numerous times causing complete agony, I decided I needed to get this. It's the thinnest brace out there, but it works phenomenal. I didn't want a big beefy brace, especially for trials riding. I bought the pair and I wont ride without them now. The knee puck floats off the knee and bends with the knee. You can also remove the knee pad if you just want the brace aspect. I highly recommend reading up on this brace. My medical covered it 100%. Without med coverage they cost just under $950.00 US for the two. If anyone has any questions about them I'll do my best to answer them. I feel they have saved me tearing my knee probably 10 times now. Because of what I did to my knee originally, I don't have the strength side to side and front to back when pressure is applied. The brace eliminates all my fears of re injuring my knees now!!! That is worth $$$$$$

Have you put any dents in it yet?

It was my 2001 Toyota Tacoma Trd 4X4. Great truck, but I sold it and got me one of the Subaru WRX STI 300hp rally cars. I had to put a hitch on it through! Need to get the bike around now.

Hey guys, this is right from Alexz Wigg. I asked him how he likes the Bosi exhaust on his Evo and how it differs in performance from the stock exhaust. Here is what he said. Alexz Wigg June 15 at 1:28am Hey chad. Sorry for being so slack with getting back to you. The exhaust definitely makes it more responsive on the bottom end. Thats probably where its most noticeable but it does help on the top end as well. Sounds mega with it on. Really deep and a lot different to standard. And obviously the weight is a massive plus.

Are the gaerne boots made with cotten stitching? Can I apply wax to the sole stitching without worrying about rotting the stitching?

I sold mine 05 Rev3 270 a couple months ago for $4250 and $600 for the tank seat. That price would have been a really good buy.

I have the 09 Evo and nothing but good things to say about it. I have put over 70 hrs on it and have had no starting issues, no hub issues and no seizing issues. It runs great and is a great reliable bike. Those people with the issues should be looked after by Beta. They might have had some issues on the first release bikes. Nothing wrong with the bikes that where shipped out a 2-3 months ago.

I will let you know next time I start the bike. I haven't really looked. When I'm riding all day I just never seem to notice it stopping. Could it be how hot it's been lately though? Haven't done anything to the bike. I emailed that guy who's in charge from the email but haven't heard back. Mongoose machine could do the same work to the engine I'm sure.. Dean thinks it would be very expensive. I'm thinking over $500. They fixed his engine on his old gas gas after it was seized. When I get around to it I'll probably just try a bigger main jet and see what that does to the bottom. Well see. Hey Spencer. Tree won! Not on a trials bike though, a WR450. Double concussion, broken wrist, t5, 6, 7, compression fractures in lower back. Off work 2 months back riding in the 3rd month. It was over the winter so didn't actually loose to much ride time! Happened Dec 1/07

I'm going to get a new rear fender and put all the rest of the graphices on that fender. Or I might just put it on this one. Well see.

My friends 08 Gas Gas 300 had a rad leak problem as well. It was replaced. His new Raga came with a different rad. They have fixed the problem now, hopefully. I believe it's another company making the rads now. There has been quite a few leaky rad issues on those bikes.
