  1. The main problem that causes this is the CDI unit, You need to check the terminals for any green colour what so ever. On our Beta Evo 4t's we have moved the CDI further up near to the kickstart, To stop water getting into it as easy. Also is worth taping it around the connecter. Failing that another problem can be a tiny bit of water in the carb, you need to undo the drain bolt slightly at the bottom of the carb, It is a bit funny to get to with the exhaust being in the way, But give it a go, Might just be the problem.

    2013 Evo Factory

I like it a lot to be honest with you, It's been a great bike, Not let me down at all yet! I find it a lot more of a better bike compared to the standard evo, The extras make a lot of difference in my opinion, especially the clutch kit!

    2013 Evo Factory

I think it's usually around April/May time they are available
  4. I was just thinking the same thing
  5. You should be able to get the clothing from Steve as well, That's where mine come from. The TTT fenders are pretty good in my opinion, They are much more flexy than the standard ones & don't break as easy, Look pretty good combined with the sticker kit as well. The only places that sell the TTT stuff is Steve Saunders, Haven & Banyeres sell a bit, Or you could try Bosi directly.
  6. Stick to Michelins, Can't beat an X11 or a Light.
  7. Excellent video, Pat Smage is a bloody good rider!
  8. Try Fred Crosset into Youtube, Jack Field & Christophe Braund, All really good videos. One of my favourites of Chris Braund on the Scorpa 250FR
  9. The only place it can be re-packed is from where the carbon guard starts to the end can. There is no packing at the very front part, If you click on the image it will show where I mean. It sounds to me you very already packed it as much as you can do so. I had took one apart on a 4T arrow exhaust and removed the packing completely, & when I put it back it was quite loud to start with & then it has quietened off a bit now, It might just need a bit of time to settle in.
  10. The Arrow Exhaust has two baffle tubes which join on to each other, It has a long Baffle tube at the front of the silencer which runs up to where the carbon end can starts. When you take the end can off that has another small baffle tube built into it with packing around the outside, Same with the front, It Just has a baffle tube in the middle with plenty of packing around the outside, Same as any exhaust really. The Loose/ stringy packing will work fine. It can be a bit of a sod to put back together, So be careful. I Can't see you having to grind it open to re-pack the front bit, When I had mine apart, It looked like you could do it all with just the end can off.
  11. Don't think you can do it Unless you're a TC Supporter & an Admin has change it.
  12. I run my rear X light at 5 PSI, If you run it to soft you end up with it getting cuts in the sidewall, Mine has three in one side!
  13. Could be a few things causing it, 1. Check CDI box terminals how any bits of muck or water inside, Make it is completely clean, This has caused problems with the 4T's. 2. Maybe there is a little bit of water in the Carb?, Undo the drain screw at the bottom of it. 3. Could be an air leak on the carb inlet manifold rubber, These have been known to split on the 4T's, And can cause the same sort of problem that yours is having.
  14. They Will be Specially made for Honda Montesa, Whatever you think, The Specially manufactured Michelin tyres come with those Michelin Sidewall decals on, Like they have on Bou & Fuji's Monts, Wherever Honda is concerned they will have the best of the best quality products made.
  15. They will be without a doubt, I Had a look at Bou's Mont at Penrith & there is no way that is a standard X-Light. The Tyre is still an X-Light that they use, which appears in the tyre range that the public can buy, But it will be specially made for Montesa, So technically they are not doing anything wrong.

  17. They will be using something special, They will be a one off tyre probably, The Michelin logo's are actually very thin stickers, I have some on my Evo.
  18. Couldn't agree more, Used X lights for a long while now & still think there fantastic.
  19. I've heard about this recently, I think it is totally unfair on Dibs, It is his job to ride to the best of his ability all the time, Which is what he was doing in Penrith. If Beta wanted second place in the championship, Fajardo Should have to work hard to get it, If he doesn't ride well enough, Beta doesn't get Second. Beta are just trying to take the easy way out.
  20. Cheers Andy, I Would like to see Bou there though, To watch his true talents up close, And I'm sure a lot of the crowd will.
  21. Can anyone confirm that Bou will not be at Carlisle?

    Beta Evo 2013

Seen this earlier, Still not sure if it is a 2013 bike, It looks like it's a geuine enough design, Does it say Jeroni Fajardo on the side of the frame above the exhaust or is it just me? Possibly Jeroni could be on it this weekend at Beta's Home GP? Looks Bloody nice though. Found a bit of a link for it. http://www.mtrialgpitaly.altervista.org/foto-evo-pubblicazione-venerdi.html
  23. The Standard Paoli dust seals are terrible, SKF's are much better, The problem I have found with the original dust seals is that they have a slight gap around the inner edge of the fork leg, Which allows loads of muck to get underneath them, The SKF seals fit much better & they have no gap on the inner part, If you have the standard seals in though, Keep lifting the dust seals up now & again and blow all the dirt out. As for the rear brake master cylinder, I've never had any issues with the one on my Evo, I just look after mine by pulling the rubber seal off the bottom of it & use the air line to blow all the muck out of it, & I also put a small cable tie around mine to seal it a bit better. Using WD40 would be fine as well.
  24. My Paoli ones have just started leaking, Just ordered some SKF's off the Net for the Beta, I've used them before on some TTT forks, They really are fantastic, They give the forks an excellent feel. SKF are a well known brand & make quality products, And for £27 they are good value compared to the OEM Paoli seals, Also you notice with the SKF seals that they are more of a snug fit around the leg, Helps with the dust seal as they don't allow dirt to get in around the inside of the fork unlike the Paoli seals.
  25. Probably Has a one off factory Map, The Ossa obviously wasn't upto standard when Jeroni was riding it, Hence the move back to Beta.
