  1. Afternoon, I have the opportunity to buy a 1963 BSA C15 frame no C15C *** engine no C15S *** which I think is a 1960. Does this frame make for a good LDT frame, It looks as though the rear seat hoop has been made wider by about 1-2inches in comparison to my standard C15 frame? is this a easy fix? I know that the engine if in standard form is a high compression engine, Probably not right for trailing! am I right in saying the gearing would be closer to the trials gearing? lastly any ideas on what I should be offering, it has a Sammy miller PVL system and is a runner although very snappy power delivery. Alloy petrol tank. 19inch wheels? I am at a point weather to convert my standard bike instead or go for this option! Any further info or assistance would be greatly received. Many thanks Ian.

    Ossa Lighting.

Hello, I am looking to do the upcoming Lands end trial on my 75 Ossa Mar. I will have to put lights on the bike for a full MOT. Can anyone help with some sort of simpe Wiring diagram. It currently runs with Motoplat Ignition which gives me 5 wires Black and Blue which are for the coil, But have not much idea which of the other wires to use for which lights. I have a green, red and white wires coming from the stator. Will i have to use some sort of A/C converter to stop the bulbs from blowing. I really don't want to run a battery. Any help would be great. Cheers, Ian

    Ossa Mar

Thanks Woody. The bike is a late 1975 bike, unfortunately i had to re frame the bike due to the frame being beyond repair. I have struggled with bits through out the build but can now see the light at the end of the tunnel. I was told that it had compeated on the Scotish with a lady rider but have no way of finding out more history, other than the reg number of the bike. Thanks again for the info, I will check out the Millars option. Do you know where they are based. Cheers
