The Alta Suzuki was produced by two welshmen, one of whom now lives in Warwick, Australia and is a personal friend of mine. He has one complete bike in his shed and another in pieces. John also worked for Rickman welding frames. He is a really skilled tradesman and went into boats eventually and helped build boats for the Americas Cup Challenge. (kookaburra two)

He is currently helping me with my Bultacos, Metralla and Sherpa 158. His partner in the Alto went on to produce Ford GT replicas.

John is a wealth of information on bikes boats etc but is a very quiet person. He currently rides a Hyosung Comet very fast around windy roads often upsetting the blokes on bigger more powerful bikes. Talking to him last night he is dusting off his Alta with a view to getting on the trail again.
