315r Chain Adjustment

HI .Just got a 2001 315r .Can anybody enlighten me on the chain adjustment on it please.Im fitting chain and sprockets and have no clue to the setting.Thank you in advance.Mike

Yup...easy one...
Slack when bike on side stand should be 1.0 to 1.4 inches, measured at the midway point on the lower chain run (25 to 35mm in french!!!) Take the tensioner spring off first. ;)
Axle nut torque is 69Nm or 51 lbft.

Thanks for the link to the manual - does any one have one for 1999 315, althought i think they were the same up to 2001 so that would work.

The only real difference from the '99 is the front shocks changed from Paioli to Showa in 2000.
