Went to my first trial this weekend. What does 50/50 mean on some sections?? Should've asked at the time I suppose.

Think those sections are for riders who can go either way, or they just walk funny.
I know Richmond are a bit 50/50

Its like a 3rd course in between easy and hard course, you do half the easy sections and half of the hard sections, they write at the beginning of the section which you ride, they call it green round our trials.

I think its a method of allowing riders to try the next route up.
The way I've seen it done before:
You ride (say) the yellow route normally, but you're thinking of moving up to (say) the reds. 50/50 will be a section where yellow who have signed on for the 50/50 route will ride the reds in that section. The idea is to give you a taste of the next route up without you being committed fo the whole trial.
Having said that, I may be completely wrong!

One fine day in the middle of the night, two dead men got up to fight. Back to back they faced each other, drew their swords and shot each other.
