My new 250 came with a 100 link 520 chain fitted, and the tyre was only millimetres from the swinging arm. On compresssion and within minutes, the tyre had rubbed a hole through the rubber flap which keeps the monoshock clean.

I am fitting a 102 link chain to allow the wheel to move back a tad and then fit a new rubber guard.

Be aware if your's is on order.

My 2008 Rev-4T arrived with a hole in it, right out of the crate. I suppose created from just rolling around the factory. Obviously a problem that Beta has no intention of fixing, if it has been going on this long. But, if that is the worst problem I have with the bike, that will be OK by me. The chain will streatch by itself in no time anyway.
