Tomorrow we are going to p/u hubby's first 'bike' - It's a 1997 Beta Lampkin Replica 285cc....but when I try to research it, all that comes up are 250's.....any suggestions?......a 285cc does exist, right? Also, any links for beginners (especially videos) would be greatly appreciated. In reality if this is his first trials bike and it is in good shape then a 250 will provide all the power he can handle. Welcome to the sport. Welcome to the sport.Dan Thanks so much for your input - we picked up hubby's new toy today - he has Always wanted a Trials 'bike' - we think it's a 1998 according to the info (frame#) provided by the other response - but the seller insisted it was a 285.......we'll know soon enough --- Pat's gotta 'do his thing' - tune it up, ck it out, etcetcetc. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
