The FIM Website lists the riders for the 2008 season with a couple of interesting points.

Dougie is noted as riding for the Beta factory, no real surprises there, but Shaun Morris is down for Scorpa. Have I missed something, but there has been no official announcement for either rider. However the fact that it appears on the FIM website would surely indicate that this is not rumour.

An email from said sources today informed me that negotiations regarding riders were ongoing. No teams were mentioned.

The FIM site has been displaying the "news" that Doug will ride Beta next year for a while. I guess they read it on Todo Trial like the rest of us!

Not sure when you last checked the FIM website, but now the 2008 list shows Dougie on Montesa.

And Shaun Morris on Gas Gas. Must have been corrected.

I wonder who the CTR Press Manager is?

I'll say one thing for Gas Gas their team is certainly varied. Young and not so young riders as well as plenty of girls.
