Went to the Dirt Bike Show on Sunday at Stoneleigh, Warks. Not overly impressed or excited with the Trials stuff, the show would appear to cater more for motox. I saw very little that I'd have classed as a bargain, I went on the Sunday hoping for some super deals, maybe I left too early.

I did find a stand displaying a nice pair of Sidi Trial Courier boots. When I asked the chap on the stand the price I gulp a little, then when I got my breath (and nerve) back I said I'd have a pair. I was then told they weren't for sale and were for display only!!

Well the credit card got saved a hammering at the time :) though hopefully not for too long.

Can anyone advise me as to where, other than eBay, I can get my hands on a pair, preferably in the Leicester area, so that I may try before I buy.

Many thanks

Oddly enough I did the same thing. I liked the look and feel of the Sidi's but couldn't find a pair to buy at the show, so I bought another pair of Novogars.
Saved myself some money but need to wear them in now.

Ive had three pairs of Sidi boots and have recently purchased some Alpinestars. My Sidi`s were not as nice to wear as the Alpinestars and on Sidi`s the amount of stiching is unbeliveable, which comes undone.
The soles on Sidi`s never gave any grip compared to Alpinestars. I think Sidi`s retail at £160 same as Alpinestars but i got mine new Ebay £130 so happy chappy.
Just hope they last longer than Sidi`s .

I purchased them in red size 8 with a best offer from Sandifords. Never seen them as cheap again.
I like red but would if had the choice go for black as i had red then black Sidi`s and felt black looked better even when well worn.
