Hi,got a bit of a top end rattle on my 98 TX200,the bike runs good but there is this anoying little rattle on tick over and i was wondering if it would be worth taking the barrel off to have a look and maybe put in a new little end.Whats the experts advice on this one please?

Every Tx200 I hqave come across has this annoying rattle. To be on the safe side pull off the barrel and check for wear but otherwise I would ignore it unless it gets worse

Thanks for that info Blocky,I was wondering if anyone out that had tried changing the little end bearings to try and get rid of the rattle.I once changed some little end bearings on a Yamaha YDS7(The one before the RD250)and it made absolutely no difference but if anyone out there has had some good results by changing them on a TX200 then please let me know.

Some gas gas bikes rattle from new, and some people spend a lot of time trying to fix it but fail. Just live with it.
