Hi Andre,

Whereabouts in Portugal are you?

We had a fantastic holiday in Cascais this summer & regret not taking our mountain bikes. What is the trials scene like? Are there many competions, or opportunities to practice freely?

Regards,
Neil

Hi
Here in Portugal Trials is a not a strong sport.
We have a national championship, but is ´ t so competitive as in Spain or UK.
I think the first championship in Portugal was just in 1978 in Cintra.
But we have excenlente-places practice, Cintra, Serra da Estrela, Geres,.... This are defentli-the places to go.If you just want to have to ride and play for some days the centre is better (for me), excelente small villages, excellent food and excellent rides.
Portugal have many facilities for riding in the mountains, so we can practice a lot.

As for me, i was born in Gois with is a very good place to be some days and have some rides in the near mountains. But know i live in Coimbra.

Best regards
