Bewdley MCC are looking at Running a TEAM Trial in Sept 09, basically something different.
Please have a look at the Proposed Format and DON'T FORGET........... its to enjoy.

TEAM TRIAL 2009

14th September 2009..... ‘A’+’B’ routes


Proposed Format
1. Each club (open to all centres) MUST enter and start 8 riders - 4 on the ‘A’ + 4 on the ‘B’
2. Max 80 riders – max 10 clubs
3. Best 4 out of 4 scores from each class count + ALL riders MUST finish from each class, if not they get dq
4. Session 1;
Start at 09:30 (last team 10:00), 2 laps of 15 sections to be completed in 2.5hrs,’A’ start at section 1 + ‘B’ at section 9
5. 12:30 sections close for lunch - PROMPT
6. Session 2:
Start again 13:30(last team 14:00), 2 laps of 15 sections to be completed in 2.5hrs, ’A’ start at section 15 + ‘B’ at section 8. Note: All sections shall be ridden in reverse
7. 16:30 sections close
8. Awards;
Best combined scores win 1st place Trophy
2nd + 3rd place Trophies


Objective
To ride as a TEAM with a challenge and to enjoy !!!!

Sounds like a very good Idea.

Sorry to ask, but is the A route expert and the B route clubman route?

What sort of standard to riders need to be? A good club level or good national level?

i take it this is *not* the Inter Centre Team Trial ???

Its open to All clubs who can enter 8 Club Members then can ride together as a team and finish and its nothing to do any other event ie inter center team trial

I like it. I'll see if I can get a team of eight together for us, although we've struggled to get a team of six together for the group trials this year.
