Boots Rubbed Through By Chain

Can anybody help me with a problem?, my boots seem to rub on the chain of my 04 250pro, have worn right through, my mate borrowed my bike and same happend to him.

is there a guard you can buy?

If your chain is rubbing on your boots, that is a sign that you are not positioned correctly on the bike. You should have your feet on the outer half of the foot pegs. That is how all modern trials bike are designed to be ridden.

Have a look at the Trialcast Boot Saver Chain Guard (www.trialcast.co.uk) or Yoomee.
Obviously lots of us don't ride correctly!

I bought the above item, as I'm new to Trials and my riding style is not up to scratch ! When i started off a few months ago i noticed that the Chain was rubbing on my Boots, and since the Boots were near £200 the Chain guard was obviously the Best and cheaper option to fix this problem !

Thanks for the replies, dont think i will ever be a pro rider so will buy the chain guard.
