Go to TODO trial and look at the new mont press release, lots of pictures, of the motor and flat piston.
Only three things you need to know in the SSDT.
Left, Right, and send it on.

:D
As stated under Montesa, I heard that it was £4,399 inc Vat in the UK.

I could have heard wrong. But as I say, I'm keeping that Big John cheque book covered for the moment!

Cheers...

not if you have to get some new forks for the RTL, you didn't put on your add if it was for a drum or disc model?

Drum brake preferably, I don't know how to amend an advert!

I haven't damaged anything, just a little project.

£4450 i was quoted today. How can <mention of this company is not permitted on Trials Central> advertise all 2005 Montesa's in stock and other dealers advertise 2005 Montesa all models available when there is only 1 model and no one has any yet? :D

How can that be too expensive for a totally new model, with new technology. How much was a Fantic 80 when it was launched, or what about the TYZ, wasn't that about 4k? If the RRP of the 05Mont £4399 and the 05Sherco £3699, does the mont not look quite cheap now?

how i see it, it is a dearer bike, more things to go wrong, and the parts are going to be dearer, give it another 3/4 years in development and then it will be better :o

Whatever.
Sour grapes I detect as yours is still undergoing 100hours endurance testing, guess it will be a little secondhand when big when you get it, marky.

Spot on Marky Boy, I love the look and sound of a Duke 916, but I would never considor owning one due to the constant B/downs and faults they have.

I have owned a 01 250 Sherco, by the time I'd put new mains in it and fixed the water pump impeller and had to have the silencer welded up etc etc........I sold it with a view to never buying another one...ever :D

I'm looking at buying a S/Hand Mont 315 in the near future mailny because of build quality and a reliable engine design (Jap's again).

Dabster, you need to seek professional help with that Sherco addiction..let it go dude......you know it makes sense :D

No, the 250 was S/Hand......but so was the Montesa Cota 314 it replaced :D

It (the Sherco) looked like it hadn't done that much, (all engine bolts and wheel spindle bolt heads were like new, no rounding off or nothing)
I was told that an older gent had had it from new before me, wasn't you was it ND?? :D
