sneaked out yesterday for an hour,on my newly rebuilt 200(new piston, ring, small end, full carb overhaul).ive run the new piston and ring in gently over the last month.
bike ran spot on for about half an hour ,then started to smoke badly, and wont rev out.
it still starts first kick, with loads of compression, plus the plugs a bit oily.
i'm hoping it's the crank seals.
does anybody else have any ideas before i get too disheartened?
thanks.

probably is, cheak to see how much oil you used. they can be replaced without splitting the motor. Get two old spokes nad grind the hub ends to make hooks. Hook them in and out comes the seals.

Hello Lee, just noticed your selling loads of fantic bits and bikes. I know this is a little of this topics thread but do you have a set of 200cc yokes for my 240 for sale and would they bolt straight bolt with the standard forks?....i'm assuming you'll still retain one bike after the clear out for comps.
thanks,
cliff

Hi Cliff, I am clearing out cos I will loose the cellar space. All I have now is a lockup! Still have one or two fantics though....
200 top yoke is staright fit but I have none spare. You can mod a 240 top yoke quite easily and then fit fatbars...
