I doubt it will ever see a trial again, maybe an easy one.

If I had that kind of dosh to throw about on a secondary bike, I wouldnt even hesitate! What a beautiful machine, and a very special one too, that would surely hold its value. Oh, and I would ride it for sure!

Cheers, Steve

I agree, so would I. Although I would only ride it on sunny days! :D

:D I would have to agree , If I could afford to buy it , I would certainly be able to afford to ride it ! If you can't play with history , whats the point ? Like Lee stated a while back . Buy rare paintings and hang them on the wall to look at . Or buy rare trials bikes and throw them up rocks at every opportunity ... No Brainer for me ... I just can't afford to do much of either right now :D
Glenn
And I have to wonder what the reserve is ? Already well over 10k US.!!!

It is definitely a thing of beauty, I think it was at Telford too. I even had a bid myself but my ring went when it shot over £5k with nearly a week to go! I ride or show all my bikes, it's what they are for! Good luck with the sale, they don't come up like this every day - I know as I have been looking for one for ages! Where is money better invested I wonder - my 'tax free' cash ISA is down to 2% .....

Reserve not met. Your cash will have to stay in the ISA. (Better off in trials bikes I reckon) PS if you worked for the money that goes in the ISA then you have paid tax already, gets my goat that....

I would have thought it would have gone for more.. must be a sign of times that it didn't?
