Hi, got what I think is a Fantic 240 but not sure as its got a backward kickstart. The back starts with the choke on but then tends to cut out when the throtle is opened, it then sounds like its running out of petrol.Tried a new plug and checked the that fuel is getting through, cleaned carb, checked vent on tank cap.Any ideas please? Also any tips on model identification, I'll get the frame/engine nos and post. Also, any idea of value? I dont think I want a twinshock so may be looking for a swap/sale.

Thanks

Lee Harris wrote this in another thread

"Hi Ed, fantic used engines made by minarelli up until the 240. These engines were used in chopper, enduro bikes and trials bikes. They all kicked backwards. In 1982, fantic launched its own engines and from then on, except for 50s and 80s, all Fantics kicked forwards"

Yours must be a 125 or 200 model and build before 1982 i think ?

Cheers,

Ed
