just collected my first trials bike tonight, bought it thinking it was a 1994 montesa cota 314 but it turns out to be a 1994 honda Tlr260 f.
ive search the internet tonight and cant find out much about the bike or were to get spares from, looks identical to cota but with different engine and chrome front pipe.
any info would be great

Sounds like a Japanese home mkt version of the Montesa with a few changes. Can you post a picture ??

As I said a rebadged Mont. You can see the Montesa M on the frame behind the g. box sprocket. Called Hondas in Japan.

You will find that the 'F' in the frame number standst for 'frame' you may well find an 'e' on the engine number (for engine) but it doesn't always follow.
Mind if I use your photo for the RTL galerry on http://www.honda-trials.com ?
Cheers,

another thing that bothers me is the 1994 montesa cota 314 used a 310cc honda engine but this engine is marked 261cc on the barrel
