I have got a GasGas 200 and have started having problems with the fan. It doesn't come on unless you give it a flick. I don't know if it is the fan that doesn't work or something else. Does anyone have any suggestions

John try connecting both wires from thermoswitch together to isolate that from system, if fan is ok then it will run whole time engine is running & you'll need a new thermoswitch from Peter.
Otherwise its the fan motor having a dud sector which is what I'd be betting on, either way you'll need to call Peter

Hi John,
Just as Tony put it, try shorting the thermoswitch to prove the fan is working, if not then very likely one of the field coils in the fan has open circuited, requiring a new fan. Give Peter a call!
Ta ta, PeterB.
