Hi Guys,

Just stripped my new (to me) Fantic 240, and I have found 1 problem - the rear hub is fairly wrecked from what I expect is loose sprocket bolts. I need to get hold of another one, so can any one tell me other brands/models that run the same rear hub? I have been told SWM hubs are the same, but I can't confirm.

Any help would be great.

Cheers,
Ben

SWM, Gori, Garelli also had Grameca (sp) hubs but will also be 25+ years old.
Is your own hub beyond repair ? If its just the threads that are away it should be repairable.
A picture would help.
Cleaning a section is like setting fire to Joanna Lumleys shoes.

In addition to the above, Beta twinshocks, TR32,TR33, Fantic early monos 301 etc, Armstrong, Aprilia all used Grimeca hubs. There may be slight differences between the various bikes and models in design, particularly with the brake plate, but I'd think most could be made to fit without much effort. They should all have the same spindle diameter.

Watch out for the early SWM and maybe Gori hubs though, as they had a cush drive. Probably still fit but very heavy in comparison.
