Recently stripped my Villiers 8E as the primary case needed some welding; painted the head, de-coke etc whilst out of the frame. Re-assembled in the same order without any problems and now can’t get it to fire.
It’s currently running energy transfer (without any problems for the last two years).
It has a good spark, fuel is getting through ok; timed as per the book (15 thou at TDC)
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
could there be an air leak caused by worn crankshaft oil seals?
i`ve also heard of bikes having to be towed to start them after a severe de-coking.
best of luck sorting it.
