MSM Insurance cover you on the road and in trials events or enduro on the road stages.

bikesure 0800 089200 did Evo (big players not yet aware that Evo replaced rev 3 as model..it's only been a couple of years after all!) for me but just put up prices for my missus...Carol Nash 0800 8047408...pretty good....best deal we offerred currently is from MCE 0870 9090996
It seems to me that it's all a bit of a lottery ..I think the sales tecnique is called confusion process close.. p****s me off bigtime ...it seems you need infinite time and patience to deal effectively with these sales people..heaven knows what claiming would be like!. Good luck with your research please let us all know best result...it's an important topic for sure.

Ebikeinsurance will do them, I have two road bikes and my gasgas insured on the same policy with them, all done on line and straight forward.

Just switched 4rt to MSM as planning on doing a few road trials this year. Worked out about £20 more than Bennets but wanted to be covered for road use in a trial.
Bennets admitted they do not cover you for competition use when I phoned them to cancel my existing policy.
Worth checking the small print when receiving your policy

MSM do a policy which definitely covers you when you are on the road - in a Trial ( or Enduro)

Take care to check that the other policies do - else you may well be paying out your hard earned for something that is not what you want - and I know from experience they do not always make this clear

we should be supporting MSM, they provide the policy we actually need, ie road legal during a trial.

Well we are going the MSM Insurance route for No.1 son's trials bike, however the maximum cover they provide is TPFT, comprehensive is not available on their policy! There are also security requirements which we more than comply with in any case.

But for events like the SSDT or Reeth 3 Day its a worthy contract, remember for the SSDT, the Locktons RTA insurance is "supplementary RTA insurance" for the event only (a bit like the old rally drivers between stages cover of old), it does not cover you prior to or after the event itself! This is a common misconseption, the acid test is this, can your insurance be used to actually tax the bike? If it can't, then you aint covered properly! - Beware, check it out with your usual insurance broker or contact MSM for a quote!

That's it all done this morning, on the phone: 01279 870535. MSM confirmed that the bike was covered for the SSDT and any recognised trial event using the public highway to interconnect the course!

Job done, just the cover needed, I can recommend MSM Insurance.
