As I have 3 air cooled monos in various states of repair I am always checking out ebay as a source of replacement parts. In recent weeks I have seen mediocre examples of 201,301, 303 and 305's go for stupid money, ie £750 for a 301 in quite rough condition.
Am I missing something or has something happened to suddenly increase their value ? Can anyone explain ?

Dont knock it i've got a Beta TR34 that i was going to break up but maybe if this carries on it may be worth selling
Could it be something to do with people making "cheat" twinshocks out of them ????

All the early mono's must be starting to reach there premium classic collectable status.
It seems a good mint mono would be edging up to £1500 to buy, about the same price as a mint twinshock.
