Chaps,

Heading out tomorrow for the first time in 6 odd months.

Looks like there are 3 reasonably local options but I'm not too sure what direction to head in??

Only managed 2 trials last year after a 10 year lay off too....so, level wise....probably going to be beginner route!!

Any ideas on the venues/what I can expect?

Cheers

Sheffield and Hallamshire trial, Dronfield, Derbyshire. Trial set out today and we have 9 sections in the stream and 1 on the shale tip. The venue is nice and dry and should be a fantastic trial. Car Park is in a bit of a mess (thanks to idiot landowner) but as long as peeps park sensibly on the road, should be OK. Easy route should suit you fine. We've put some rocks in the waterfall so you should be able to ride up with no probs.

As a matter of interest where did you ride ?

I had a smashing day out at the Dales Classic Trial at Burycliffe.

Sensible sections.

Over 60 riders agreed and lots of smiling faces :rotfl:
The Victor Meldrew of Trials Central. Wow i'm now even less popular than Omar Gadaffi.

Wasnt this the same bloke who had rant last night because only 11 riders turned up and he decided to cancel the event? Wonder if only 11 turned up because of the car parking and idiot landowners reference ?

Nah surely not :wall:
