hi there,
I'm planning to convert my Royal Enfield Crusader from an Amal Concentric to a Villiers S22. Trouble is I have little or no information on settings or tuning of these carbs. I understand that these carbs are very good once set up, and if it was good enough for Gaunty!
Does anyboby out there have any tuning or base settings for one of these carbs with the 250 RE, I also have a S24 and a S25, would one of these be better suited? I know that the current trend is for 22mm Dellorto's but at £170!!!!!! i think I'll try the villiers route first.
Thanks for your help,

i believe that 'Gauntys' villiers carb was heavily modified, much further than just jets etc. I think mick Grant runs a villiers lawnmower carb on his Ariel, but i wouldnt pop down B + Q and get one.
We few .. We happy few...
