Hello.
I have recently acquired a TL250 in a Fraser frame. All of the Fraser's Iv seen or read about up till now have had nickle plated frames however mine is just painted black and there doesn't appear to be any plating under the paint.
I am pretty sure that a previous owner bought only the frame then built it out of a stock TL. Was the nickle plating an "extra" when purchasing a frame or was it simply stripped off and repainted?

Any information would be helpful.
Thank you.
The bike is old, it's heavy,it's underpowered, and this is my first trial... lets ride the pro line.

We bought two TL 250 Frasers new. Bright chrome was standard, but we asked for painted finish instead (both came with red frames). I think the price was the same though, but cant be sure.

I used to own this Fraser; http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...e=STRK:MEWAX:IT
I stupidly sold it and regretted it ever since,it had a chromed frame and the plating was old/worn but in quite good nick,I guess it had been done from new.

Hi guys,

I have been following this thread with great interest. I acquired a Fraser Mark 2 frame for the TL125 and was wondering if anyone has any history on this model. I have found very little info on the net. The photo is like my frame and I intend to build it to look similar to this. I'm doing a 170cc big bore and different fenders.

I appreciate your comments.
