Hi,

Will kindly ask if any of you have found softer spring rates vs std for Amal MK1 throttle?

BR, Pat

Don`t know if this is relevant but I had an enduro bike with a Dellorto with a hefty spring, and the mod was to slowly run the spring along a bench grinder, so it ended up as a D shape in cross section. It worked on that anyway, as long as you dont go too mad!

What twist grip are you using ?
Cleaning a section is like setting fire to Joanna Lumleys shoes.

Thanks DAVETOM,

B40RT,

Im using white tubed Domino, -ultra light with OKO set up.

(same grip for my TYR/Keihin29S -ultra light, fathers Sprite with Villiers carb -light)

Yes, Im weak...but provided A_al spring rate is to hard for my trialing, no doubt about it.
Will speak with some spring supplier.

Cheers,
