Can only say "I do" and I really like the new video aired on here tonight.

Made by Stu Thomson of MTBCut, Stu apart from being an accomplished downhill MTB'r started out as a youth trials rider here in Scotland. His Dad, Richard rode trials with me back in the 1970's.

Can't be bad!

Well done to all in the promotion of the UK World Trial at Nevis Range in June...

See you there!

I don't know about exposure but it seems to me that Dougie has done more to promote this sport than all other lovers of Trials put together.

He's a real hero in this sport and should be awarded for the fantastic things he has achieved to date. :rotfl:

Best of balance.

very true. I just think it is a shame that a good advert like this is only viewed by the niche trials market.. (if it is of course, i'm sure the promoters are doing there best to get max exposure)

Think TC is just for the exclusive premiere...I suspect you'll see that getting a fair bit of publicity over the next couple of weeks!

Very well thought out, this will appeal to so many different niches, lets hope they can get it out to the general public.

I ran stats over the domain for the UK World Round - ukworldtrial.com from Sept 09 - Feb 10 - a 6 month period

Over that period, Trials Central was responsible for 76.4% of ad referrals to the ukworldtrial.com website.

Next nearest refering website was enduronews.com with less than a quarter of referrals than Trials Central achieved over the same period.

Trials Central and enduronews.com were the only two websites that managed to refer over 100 visitors to the ukworldtrial.com website over a six month period!!

Trials Central referalls ran into the thousands during that time period whilst other Trials-only websites advertising this event gained less than 100 referrals each over six months.

That is why TC got the premier of this video. It is only the premier. It will go global tomorrow and will, undoubtedly appear on all sorts of websites, but the organisers rightly wanted the website that has provided them the best exposure for their event and the best return on their investment to have it first. :rotfl:

I agree, Sir Dougie Lampkin seems appropriate. Surely he is Britains best ever Sportsman. A real hero of the sport !
