Another oldie thinking of restarting up in the North West. Started riding a 250 Bultaco in 1974, also had a Montesa 247 UKR and my last was a Beamish Suzuki.
Stopped when I moved into rallying in 1978 so thats a 32 year gap, Blimey I most be getting on at 50yrs !!!!

So whats changed ? will being 50 make me a veteran ?

Looking to get a Sherco as a friend works for a dealer, but whats this NO seat ! will my legs manage to stand all the time!.

hahaha! No seat. Shocked me too to be honest. Everything had a seat in my yoof. But don't worry, you'll get used to it pretty quickly. I'm another impending crumbly, but not quite as impending as you. Welcome, by the way. :wall:

Still got at least a couple of years on you Tony ! You should have come back a day earlier, went to watch a great little event today up at Lindale you could have entered both bikes,

I hope this won't turn into an I'm older than you thread but at 62 having no seat doesn't half play havoc with my back!!
Everyone else my age is an adult, whereas I am merely in disguise.
