How much gearbox oil goes in a 2007 sherco 290, i've downloaded a manual from the shercoUSA website but it only shows a 2003 model. It states in there that 450ml of oil is to be used, and is the drainage bolt in the same place as on the 2003 model. On the side of the engine, opposite side of the the engine from the filler plug??????????

Hi
It's the same at 450cc's. From what I can see they have evolved rather than big changes each year. Well, upto 2010 anyway.
Regards,

John (Sherco ST290, Yamaha YZ250)

Yes it's still the same after all these years.
Not sure why having them on "opposite sides" is an issue to you?

Best of balance.
