I am in the process or relocating my footrests on my tlr200 (down and back 1inch each way ) but the top shock mounts stick out and are touching my legs,is this a common thing with these bikes or is it just me ???

The top mounts can be moved behind the frame tubes but this angles the shocks in at the top and there is then an issue with exhaust and chain clearance.
Open your legs a bit!
